  1. Those are good videos
  2. Looks good but as already mentioned the skin needs some tweaking other than that great job
  3. So inquiring minds want to know what was going on?
  4. I understand that they are peace officers and are listed in the cpl but they do not carry out most law enforcement duties so I personally do not consider them law enforcement

  6. Hospital police who are not police at all just security https://m.flickr.com/#/photos/jag9889/2564592301/
  7. Yeah it was commissioner Kelly
  8. The only laws that vary from state to state apply to the lighting it's left up to each department what design and lighting is used in there cars, for example Tupelo MS. Had a contest in the schools for the next design of their cars. In N.Y. The commissioner one day saw a car with police on it doing something stupid and thought it was an nypd car. He soon realised it was another department so he ordered all NYPD cars to have the letters NYPD POLICE on the front and rear of the cars so they can be identified easier as nypd cars.
  9. I would just hang tight and do as you were told stay away from windows and doors eventually you will find out what happened. Don't be afraid know that the police have enough officers in the scene to keep you safe if you were at risk they would evacuate you out of your home so try not to worry too much.
  10. There have been a few cases of swatting here in Connecticut and the police response was massive. The resources that are tied up on a prank are ridiculous, I think the person behind it when caught should have to pay back the cost of assembling the swat teams . Because they are on call so many of them could have been off-duty when the call went out and may have to be paid overtime. Plus I believe they should get a strict punishment , not sure how many years maybe 5-10 years.
  11. This is absolutely false I spent 12 years in law enforcement in N.Y. And I never fired my weapon in the field, I know plenty of other officers who have retired and never fired their weapons as well. You don't use it unless you have to, I was fortunate enough to have never been put in a position where deadly force was needed but I would do it in a heartbeat.
  12. I understand what you are saying about your friend not being given a chance to improve his life, there are opportunities for him out there it's just hard to find. I don't believe he should be given a position in law enforcement because, as you said if he isn't given a chance he will go back to committing crimes, that means there is always a chance he will commit another felony .Not a chance I would be willing to take a chance on somebody that has broken the law to enforce it. But don't let him give up I know people who are felons that have really good jobs and are doing well contributing to society.
