Go to desktop. Right-click on windows button. Click control panel. Go programs. Find program. Un-install. Install older version.

In that case un-install 2012 and install 2010.

I have both 2010 and 2012. Try what I told you. Reply if it worked or not please.

*fixed* ^^^^ (that didn't work) ^^^^ I installed LCPD:FR 1.0b manually. After I un-installed it I discovered that it failed to uninstall many scripts. These were causing the errors. I just deleted them and re-installed everything.

Many ELS V7 vehicles do not work with V8. "- ELS V7 vehicle configuration files (VCFs) are not completely compatible with ELS V8. A conversion guide is provided in the documentation."

Just have LCPD:FR 1.0b installed then install ELS V8. Make sure you use ELS V8 cars only. Any cars that are ELS V7 will not work with ELS V8. If that doesn't work: -Go into your GTA directory. -Delete any files that are not there by default including LCPDFR. -Un-install GTA. -Install GTA. -Update GTA to latest patch. -Install LCPD:FR 1.0b -Install ELS V8. -Click yes to any files it wants to over-write. -Test. I have confirmed that ELS V8 works on windows 8. If this works please let me know.

I tried a re-install of GTA IV and LCDPFR. When ever I launch LCPDFR it crashes. Where did you hear that? I have windows 8 and it worked. Does it work and crash or crash straight away?

I'm sure you've had many reports on this but none of the solutions are helping... I installed FR 1.0b and ELS 8.0 an it keeps crashing every 30 seconds to 20 mins. I am using xliveless. That's all I really know. I will need quite a bit of help with this as I am not very good at modding. Please help!

Yeah im done posting here. Most of the problems have been solved but i still get regular crashes. You can't really get rid of them .

Final problem. Iv'e now started using eflc cause it has more police vehicles and peds. I have changed cars and uniforms, and installed els v7. When launching i get SMPA30 error. I have deleted save games and still have error. Help

Yeah the error has been fixed... And now I have a new error . When I order someone to get out of a car when im aiming my gun at them, the game crashes. I have installed the hotfix. Is it cars that are causing the errors or the installation?

*fixed* I had files when I re-installed that shouldn't of been there. I just deleted them. I'm now having the SMPA60 error. I have put cars, weapons and ped skins on. What would be causing it. I cash every time I die and seeing as I play on hardcore that happens a bit....

Latest patch i assume you mean hotfix, yes ive tried with that. I've followed installation guide for manual and done automatic. Is there any thing missing from my directory?

Iv'e installed 0.95 and gta iv wont start. Script iv is also not working..........
