MOD INFORMATION
This modification replaces the font for the in-game road signs with Transport, Motorway, Tratex, or DIN 1451 Mittelschrift, depending on which font users select.

WAIT A SECOND, THAT DOESN'T QUITE LOOK RIGHT!
Due to the way Rockstar set the signs up, they pool from a common font texture instead of being printed on the sign itself as an overlay texture. Some issues, like letter kerning or width being off, or descenders being cut short, are to be expected due to this. Unfortunately, short of redoing every sign in ZModeller, it would be impossible to make it look exactly right. I apologise for any instances where this causes someone's OCD to act up. It might also cause this sort of silliness:

In addition to the above, a few roadsigns have the alphabet texture embedded within the YDR itself, so this sadly doesn't modify those – thus, even after installation, there'll be a few signs with the original Highway Gothic typeface. (I might have also missed one or two skimming through the RPFs.)

Modification Overview
Replaces the standard registration plate typeface with Fälschungserschwerende-Schrift (commonly abbreviated to FE-Schrift), a falsification-hindering "typeface" developed in the late 1970s by Karlgeorg Hoefer of the Federal Highway Research Institute of Germany. Modification overview:
This modification replaces the default door chime which came with the Door Ajar Chime modification with a 2012-2014 Ford door chime. A video preview can be found over here.

This mod requires the Door Ajar Chime modification to function properly. This mod may not function as intended or function at all without it.



Installation instructions:
Use your GTA archive manager of choice to replace the "extras.IVAUD" file located in ".../pc/audio/sfx/resident.rpf" with the one in the archive.

Credits:
- Erase for the original Door Ajar Chime modification.
- Ford Motor Company for the door chime.
- Wisriverblue for the chime audio
- I just cut the audio to the right length and put it in the IVAUD.
