Very true but the issue is, While in a big city and you have many people walking around . Well crowds... You pulling your weapon would cause panic. People will see some man with a weapon and start to run. and 2 if a officer do get to the seen you might be shot without any warning...... Thats why in big cities officer try there best not to use any weapons but rather a taser.... having a weapon is great for protection but Judgement plays a big factor... Drawing a weapon and shooting when a crowd is near isn't smart. what if you hit someone that is just running or walking by and have no idea... Things happens. for example in new york 2 years ago a man got fired from his job in the empire state building and Decide to shoot up the place.. the cops didnt open fire untill the man came outside.... when the man come outside they tried to plead with him to put the weapon down . guess what he fired forcing the NYPD to shoot.. 2 people was killed because of cross fire... Shooting a gun in the city will cause panic which will get someone killed or hurt. Thats the reason why i said open carry in the city not a good idea... Only the cops should. and if its really that bad then they need more cops on the streets. I do get your point tho.. Not to relate to a game. But if you Roleplay playing lcpdfr in single player and acting as a real cop.. If you see a suspect open fire in the city and they are alot of people do you shoot him dead no matter what or wait for a clear shot.... And if you notice once you shoot everyone including cars start to go crazy trying to run for there lives. When i patrol i try my best to keep the peace for example when a pursuit is happening and its getting crazy i request a chopper and let the chopper follow him while i take my time.. if possible P.I.T when i see no cars or peds around................................ So yea Gun in the city cause panic which will be bad for you and the officers ... here a video oh what i mean this man is shooting randomly.. But right now its pretty dead just cars thank god.. BTW if you are a store owner anywhere you should have the right to have a gun for protection. no matter where..

mmmmm Well This is my take on this entire subject. Disarming people and stopping gun sales will only work for the people that Obey the law. No matter what a criminal will always get his/her hands on a gun. and what happens when the criminal is only armed? i think everyone here can get the picture for example. They should be gun restrictions which i think is already in effect. in big cities no one should be allowed to cary only cause of the large police force.. like New york. every corner there is a cop. or at least 5 blocks...:) but for little towns that have only 4 to 5 cops for the town like some parts in PA. Yea you should have the right to carry and protect yourself as long you pass the background and medical test with of course good training... in overall. Guns is good and bad..... Guns can save lives and can End lives its all depends on how you use it! for example i heard a story about a man Ex Army getting a Blade and killing 1 to 2 injured officers somewhere in the UK cause the police isn;t Armed. If the cops was Armed those officer could have been alive..... I like the idea and hope maybe someone would create it :)...... To be honest with you! when i do patrol on the highways i do see some cray stuff with the new lcpdfr. Such as i would spot a driver driving all over the road and when i order him out. He cant even stand lol or at times i would notice a accident when a guy attemps to go around traffic and hit a sign and dies... BTw which i think is soo unrealistic at low speeds ... Maybe to add to the idea! i wonder if anyone can make highway driving more faster :).... for example maybe 55 to 60 mph driving :) and react when they notice a police car with lights on or something :)

Ok I dont think you really understand me! the Purpose of a Fuse is to stop the power. But Please keep in mind unlike a car that is under its own power. for example Lets say you Decided to installed HIDs or some powerful Fog lights to the car. you have 2 option. you can run your own wiring and Relay and fuse.. the purpose of a Relay is to Equal Power to Prevent overloading.. Fuse is a protector but only if Positive and Negative Touch Causing the Negative to Loop it self hitting the Positive line.. Now and only then the fuse will Trip preventing power to hit Keep feeding that line......... But what if positive just overloads ?? What happens ?? do the fuse Blow no. that is when the relay take over But now remember Relays only work with fuses. and Wifi Relays are little plastic Attach to the board. which isn't Fused. which makes the relays not even worth it. thats why Alot of Wifi come with a overload Sensor. If the relay gets to hot well it just cut off like a breaker and restarts when the Temp is reduce ..... For example look at the power supply on the desktops. You would notice its wiring is not attach to the board . Its Grounded on its owned. so in case of a Short the power supply will just stop.the power will be killed because the power supply is just a huge Relay and fuse .. unlike Wifi everything is in one. all grounded in the same way so if that ground Files yea the fuses will blow but the wifi will still be powered as the Relays and fuses are located on the board itself where it will keep burning unless unplugging.. this is why having a Cord with a fuse is good cause the fuse would detect the short and Cut that device from being powered from the Start. which is where you plug your device :)..... I only know this because i went to school for this. if you ever what try this..... REcommended for Adults and must be done outside ...... If you ever want to see how a fuse reacts Get a battery and 10 wires , 2 fuses and 1 relay 1 switch... and follow this Mapping legend : P for power G for ground B for battery R for relay and F for fuse P---->R---->F-----> Switch----->F-------Relay----- Ground after Switch-------------------- Now this is how the Wifi set up is...Once you have finish Switch on the power---------- everything will be okay but lets make a Wifi meltdown.... Turn off the power and connect the Relay power line to the last Relay and and switch it on...... it will work.. if y ou have Amp reader Connect it to the line you will notice a overload.. No problem it will run still...... Remember Relays on wifi isn't Grounded on its own it is shared with the entire Device.....you will also notice the Bottom line getting Hot and then you will see a little fire and the fire will just burn.. but the fuse will not blow..once it happens take off the switch and the fire will stop............ This is why All building outlets have 3 grounds to ground any power Same as a car... Power --- Relay Fuse on all power from the relay grounded and then to the fuse box and then to the lights :)-------------- understand what i am saying now. that is the reason why some wifis catch on fire... Keep in mind if that fuse Blow that sensor is Disable and can't Power or Read the overload......which will keep burning unless plug from the wall---- Edit: also forgot to mention having a fuse at the power source controls the amp sooooo if you have a15 amp fuse a well that is the most it will get that will stop a overload :) like house breakers. if you overload the breakers it cut off cause its more then the Amps can handle which stops fire inside walls :)

I Love playing lcpdfr but sometimes i just wanna command a Army or even a city :) i played Simcity 2013 i love it but need more space and i love Act of war and Company of Heros also the C n C series . But im looking for a game that is mix with Simcity and Act of war together if you know what i mean. Where you can Take care and build a city or Country and a chance to Start war with other nations or defend your nation :).. Anyone can give me any advice? Thanks :)

Well Wifi can Caught on fire if there is a short inside..There is little Relays inside and a on board fuse which don't really work. Once that board starts to Melt it stops power from Surging yes. But not to shut it down. the Wifi Board would keep melting only cause the House main power is still feeding power. and most homes have 3 grounds to stop In wall Fires in case of a Device MAlfunction so the fire would start from the wifi and spread unless you disconnect the wifi from the house power.... Just a little advice. To avoid that next time buy the extension cord with fuses. Do cost between 30 to 80 but it will Limit the chance of a house fire....:)

Hey everyone. I decided to add Policehelper again with the new lcpdfr 1.0 but it acts kinda weird lol like it works but the models Dont move and crash so i wanted to know . How many people have Policehelper working perfectly with lcpdfr 1.0 : thanks! just want to know if its only me................... the only way for me to get it to work is set everything on MAgic mode. where it just appear and leave.

That was Epic lol ((in other news today lol)) You know what don't Make sense. Simcity 2013 is a great game but they limit so many things Which i don't know why. Why make a City Buildier game and give little space to do it in.. Simcity 4 was great Alot of room to Build..but with Simcity 2013 i wonder why they downgrade the space....another example look at the mega-towers. About 5 towers would almost take half of your build space which sucks :( so i am Pray they make plenty of room to build...

Well i feel the Cop had the right to Protect himself but was little Trigger happy. I mean i feel the cop could have handle it little better for example... If he had a tazer that would be the best weapon to use in this Event But if he didnt have a taser maybe he should have did this instead. 1: After addressing hes a police officer . Try to Speak to the suspect Calmly not demanding. Since he was in a state of Hurting himself. 2: Once you have the person Come out to your View Aim your weapon at is leg or Arm. i would say The leg Cause its clearly a easy shot. 3: Try to speak to him and get him to lower the weapon Calmly. State to the suspect your here to help and maybe even Pep talk him about life. 4: if the suspect Tries and Fail to listen or comply to your orders then Shoot his legs with 1 or 2 bullets. That suspect would be down and Alive....... 4 Plan B : IF 4 Fails and starts to run at you! Well Time to get LCPDFR Gundum Style on him! But yea sadly the cop just went LCPDFR Gundum Style.)) Overall the cop did was right but believe he could have handle it more better. and could have Prevented taking a life.. That if he isn;t Dead.

Hey everyone.. I know i seen these Somewhere about 6 months ago but cant find the topic and hope there is a update on it lol,, IS there a way to Pick which models can Patrol in some area of Liberty City?.. For example i can have Noose ad PolPAtriot Patrol in Bohan and so on! i have Config the PolPAtriot as a State Police car and the Stockade ... and the PRivite company Stockade is the Swat Van and it works really well with the Spawn Script seeing other police patrol as well and respond to lcpdfr calls :) so wanted to know if i can give them areas to patrol thanks,, PS: I hope I didn't Confuse everyone :)

For the people that crash every 10 to 30 mins of gameplay. That was happening it to me .. until I did these steps.. Step 1 : Reinstall GTA IV Step 2: Download LCPDFR 1.0 Manual plus Hotfix A Step 3: Only used these Following mods, the Spawned Script, Traffic flow SCript, Police helper But disable Any Callouts and Traffic Calls, and ELS 7 But Disable ELs for AI use. Step 4: Only Police car was Completely moded . All other cars left as it came in the game. Step 5: Went to the Main Folder of GTA IV and Click off Read only.. Step 6: I installed the Xlive instead of Dsound for now. These are all the steps that i did and i am now able to play the game for over 2 hours and even ran it over night and no crash...... here is my specs on my Computer: AMD 6200 6 core processor 10 gigs of Ram Windows 8.1 Geforce 560 GTX PCI:E 1 gigs of Video Ram -- Do plan to update very soon ............................................................................................................................. I did also use a ENB for 1.0.7 that i found on this site which works well. and moded only the Trooper Skin.... I would recommend Do not use High Poly cars cause i notice it would also crash the game Randomly Also Mods that demands memory as i notice LCPDFR 1.0 Demands alot of memory :) I hope this work out for the people that is having issues and hope to get a feedback if this work for you guys as well.

Well i have good news everyone lol .. i was able to play fpr 2 hours without any crashes or errors. this is what i did to stop the crash every 20 to 30 mins...... I reinstalled GTA iv, Started a new game ..... I disable ELS for AI cars ... and disable Police-Helper call-out...

ohh wait i know what you need to do! it should Weird but please try it! Install a no cd patch! Trust me It should solve all your issues... once you install the game! find the downgrade gta sa patch and then the no cd Crack...

mmmmm If you have Windows 7 or 8! sometimes that happen. i know for Windows Vista if you go in Firewall/programs and click on DDP setting and Hit Enable adding the GTASA.exe File and any other EXE file in the Folder of GTA sa. Bam it would run smooth you would also need to run it as windows xp Service pack 2.....!!! That should fix the Crash or Not able to start issue if you have any...

Wow To be Honest i thought i was the only one that crash between 1 to 30 mins... I was trying to figure it out cause I have no errors in the LCPDFR Log or other Logs that is present... So i just re install GTA IV, Added cars that is not High Poly Models , No adding PEds Skins,,,, .. I do have a spawn Script to add more police cars to patrol. and traffic Flow mod... and Disable Els for Ai.. So i now look to see how long i can play now! :) i will update my Results! BTW on 0.95 Fully moded it would be rarely i would crash.i can play the entire day without crashing.. I know the new LCPDFR takes alot of memory and makes me wonder if LCPDFR 1.0 is meant for Stock GTA iv game play no other mods.. But AGAIN there is other patches that will come out to fix the issue well i hope! :)

Ah Thanks everyone for the help :) this is something new i just learn .... Cause everytime i play about 10 to 15 mins a random crash happens and its not LCPDFR 1.0 . as i dont see any Errors..... I wonder if there is a program to Detect and explain in details what cause the gta iv to crash :) life would be more Easy ...
