I've made som progress, kinda. Reinstalled both the game and LCPDFR several times and now the game's crashing when i enter the PD.

I removed the entire directory, so yes. Do you have a clue where the problem can lie?

Yes, i did accidentally yesterday when removing all GTAIV files.

I've tried reinstalling both GTAIV and LCPDFR(automatic and manual), still no joy. Tried changing ASI loader, didn't work either. Starting to think that the fault lies somewhere in the mod, but i have no idea. I am now, unfortunately that didn't fix it.

Yeah, but the playtime won't count towards GTA IV. There has to be something that's been added in the 1.0 update that doesn't work so well with Steam. Everything from LCPDFR installs in the GTAIV-folder? There's nothing else that goes somewhere else? Wondering if there's something left from 0.95 that messes everything up.

You mean playing a "non-steam" game? No, haven't tried that. I was hoping to be able to fix this somehow, I played 0.95 flawlessly via Steam.

Yes, I searched around in the forums before and both .exe's is set to be run as administrators. My thought was also that all that Steam does is to run the LaunchGTAIV.exe but it doesn't work. Just tried launching through Steam again and the whole game crashes even before I get the chance to run LCPDFR. Still works just launching the .exe though.

Okay, so whenever I'm launching 1.0 through Steam the game crashes when starting LCPDFR. However, when I launch the game via the LaunchGTAIV.exe it all works fine. I've uninstalled everything, installed 1.0 manually but I can't get it to work. Does anyone have any ideas how i get it to work through Steam?
