  1. It cannot find a valid installation, looking at the log files it says that stuff failed to initialize all related to lcpdfr. I have the steam version so I assume it is up to date, but the rgsc login window always comes up when I launch the game Ok so it seems that you might have been right, after updating nothing was different but I hadn't completed the first mission. it now works. For people looking at this for a solution to their game, completing the first mission is required, but I don't believe that was my problem, the previous guy's post I believe was the solution and there was no problem at all, lol,
  2. Still nothing has worked, can someone please shed light on this? look at my above post for possible known problems and solutions
  3. From the lcpdfr.log: [WARNING - 6:08:36 PM] [settings] ReadSettings: Invalid entry [ERROR - 7:58:16 PM] [Authentication] Authentication: Error 0x320 possibly the problem?
  4. Yes I do that and it says it's setup correctly, when I click "open log file" the diagnostic tool crashes and it does not locate the install. this is the initial problem I have been having Also, not sure if it's relevant or not, I also have EFLC but I'm installing LCPDFR into the gta IV folder From the lcpdfr.log: [WARNING - 6:08:36 PM] [settings] ReadSettings: Invalid entry [ERROR - 7:58:16 PM] [Authentication] Authentication: Error 0x320 possibly the problem?
  5. I did that, it requested I had to restart my computer so I did, I can now extract to the root folder but diagnostics tool still crashes when I try to open the log file, and it still cannot locate the install And according to my LCPDFR.log nothing initializes, everything it tries to do it says failed My LCPDFR.log
  6. I'm admin on my computer, but no idea how to turn off UAC and it's too late at night for me to ask google (1am) I will check tomorrow
  7. My bad, before I was just copy+pasting. when I extract I get a command window saying [file location] access denied
  8. I said in the first post that the manual installer did not work. I will see if moving it to a Rockstar Games folder will work (I know where it goes I have SA)
  9. Ok so I played 0.95 on a non legit copy, but once it required a legit copy I recently purchased it on steam. I have tried both auto installs and the manual install and it can never locate my game folder, when I do it in advanced mode it says it's good, but once I click to open the log the tool crashes, I've tried moving the game folder around to different places, the only thing I haven't done is reinstall the game itself, although I have no idea why it would change anything since its a new copy (Although it uses my save from my non legit copy with xliveless which I used on it as well)
