Hello, I've been getting crashes on startup ever since installing some mods. I was wondering if any of you would be able to read this so that I can know what is conflicting with the game. Help appreciated. rageplugincrashlog.txt EDIT: The problem was solved by uninstalled and reinstalling LSPDFR.

Hello, Since ELS has been released and we now have new possibilities with car modding, I am wondering if anyone is wiling to make an ELS dodge charger model with all blue lights? Or if there already is one could someone point me to it? If you're willing to make the model I'd be forever thankful if you are also willing to make a NC state trooper skin for it. Just the model is fine however, since I can probably make the skin. Thank you.

ELS in GTA IV did a good job of adding nice environmental lighting effects, especially at night by being able to see red white and blue light strobes light up everything near your cruiser. In GTA V, it seems to me like the headlights and break lights produce somewhat of a lighting effect on the surroundings but the police lights produce almost none, even at night. Is there anyway to solve this until an ELS For GTA V is released, perhaps through the use of ENBs? Video as an example of what I'd be looking for:

I don't know if this is model related or what, but these white bumps appear when the lights on a certain model flash. It's weird. There's still the flashing lights on both bars when looking at it from the front but when looking at it from the back only the lights on the red bar flash. these bumps appear regardless of what way one is looking at it. Does anyone know what this is or how to fix this?

Car Textures Mess Up , Even When Following a Template
guywithpie replied to guywithpie's topic in GTA V & RPH Support
Many thanks guys, I found a new model and everything turned out nice! I just have one questions though: I don't know if this is model related or what, but these white bumps appear when the lights flash. I mean, there's still the flashing lights but these bumps appear on the lights that flash. It's only on the headbar though. Does anyone know what this is or how to fix this? -
Car Textures Mess Up , Even When Following a Template
guywithpie replied to guywithpie's topic in GTA V & RPH Support
I understand that every car model has a specific template, however the template I used came with the cvpi model files in the zip folder. How would I find the right one for the model? Link for the model: -
Okay, so I'm quite new to making textures for cars. I've looked over several tutorials to understand the basics of creating textures, but I've run into this problem several times and I don't know why. I downloaded a cvpi model, which of course included the template. I used the template to make my own texture, putting the colors and decals on top of the template. When I make the png and put it on the car in Open IV, the texture is all screwed up. I've included pictures to get a better idea. I would appreciate help, as I'd love to make some designs I've been thinking of. First picture is the template itself. The second is a picture of me hastily compiling a car with a black front with badges on the sides and a white back for the sake of demonstration. The third one is an example of what I'm experiencing. The badge is on the top and not on the bottom, and the colors are all mixed up and not where they should be. I've tried rotating the skin and resizing it in various ways but to no avail. Again, I would appreciate any form of help.

North Carolina State Trooper Dodge Charger
guywithpie replied to guywithpie's topic in Suggestions & Requests
I know it's been a while but I haven't really had the chance to get online much. I believe you deserve some form of appreciation. I've very thankful this, I can't wait to try this baby out! -
I'd love to have a NC State Trooper skin for GTA V. I know there were a couple for GTA IV but I haven't seen any around for GTA V. Thus I'm asking if anyone is willing to create one using F5544's Dodge Charger. Link to the model (no steelrim); all lights are blue

I'm getting an error whenever I install the mod: Some files not imported, more information below. vehicles.oac(Line 1): Not supported format version, actual: "10" but expected "11". I've already installed a siren mod before so I don't know if this is the reason why it's not working. Could you send it to me as well, please?

I know that editing the visualsettings.dat will make els lights brighter and what not. The thing is, my fbi car's lights are pretty much completely white because the brightness is too high. The brightness level makes my other cars look good, but again, it's too high for my fbi car. It needs to be around 30-40, maybe even less. I don't want to ruin the settings for my other cars, however. Thus, I'm wondering if there's a way to turn edit the light brightness for the fbi car alone. Any support welcome.

I recently found that in order to change the light reflection on cars, you must alter the ini file of ELS. I've looked up several topics that explain how to do it, and they call include altering certain lines that are not present in my .ini. The topics suggest the .ini should look something like this in regards to the listing of cars: [ FIRETRUCK ] Active = 1 Halogen_Only = 1 Color_Light1L = 0 Color_Light2L = 0 Color_Light3R = 0 Color_Light4R = 0 Color_Light7L = 3 Color_Light8C = 3 Color_Light9R = 3 Offst_SLights = 3 However, my els.ini would look something like this: [ FIRETRUCK ] Status = on File = default_config Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, I did watch the video by Break. The problem is, my gta iv properties will not stay on read only. I cllick on the properties tab, and it has a blue tick (which means some files are read only yes?), I switch it to a blank tick (not read only) and then I click ok, and applied it to this folder and all of its subfolders. However, if I close it and go back it, the blue square tick is back there. It will not go away. I have run the LCPDFR installation as an admin, and I have all 4 checks for the required software to install it. This is the only problem i have with the installation. The only effect on the game is that my tazer will not come up. Help for solving this problem will be greatly appreciated. I will attach a diagnostic report also

Unfortunately, I come up with the same problem again.
-
I just said I ran it as an administrator and the problem is I can't get it to not be read only. Did you even read my post?
-
I would just like to point out first, I have watched the video for the error'd by Break, but I have a occuring problem with one of the steps he did in the video. I keep getting the following errors: Installation component 'LCPDFRModels' error'd! at G17MediaSetupEngine.Installation_Components.tazershit.beginComponent() at G17MediaSetupEngine.UI.Interface.wizardControl1_SelectedPageChanged(Object sender, EventArgs e) at G17MediaSetupEngine.UI.Interface.wizardControl1_SelectedPageChanged(Object sender, EventArgs e) When he gets to the point of changing the properties from "read only" I have some strange error. It starts out as a blue square in the check box, I click it to where the box is empty and click apply, I applied it to the Grand Theft Auto IV folder and all of its subfolders. i then click OK and exit the properties tab. But, whenever I click on the properties tab again, the blue square is there again. I tried again and again to no avail. I have run the installer as an administrator and I have all four green checks for the required programs to run it. I only thing different in his video is: 1. I used winrar to extract the zip folder to the simple exe, where his was in the zip folder without extraction 2. I have GTA IV on the steam version, not the retail, so my GTA IV is in my Steam folder instad of Rockstar Games (however I do not believe this would affect it) Another side note, I had a 2007 Vista computer, and the .95 RC2 installer worked just fine on it. I have also attached a diagnostic report. Help would be greatly appreciated.

I am on the only and only account, so wouldn't that make me an admin

I am on the one and only account, so wouldn't that mean I am? (not trying to sound like a smartass)

That didn't work either. I clicked "apply to all sub folders" etc. and they still didn't work. I went back to it and the square was back. I also went ahead and tried to do the same thing to the steam folder but with the same result

I can't seem to set the GTA IV Folders to Read only. On that check box, instead of a check, there is a square. I click it so there's no check mark/square and apply it to all folders, than I exit, but then when I go back to it, the square is there again. I can't seem to disalbe the read only property

ok, I deleted the LCPDFR folder and the other LCPDFR scripts and I ran the installer but it still did not work. This is a tough nut to crack...

I tried just installing RC2 again as admin without deleting the scripts etc., and that didn't work. To reinstall, would I have to delete all the LCPDFR files and then run the installer again?
