Ofc. Vic reacted to Hystery for a file, Vice City Police Department Vintage Skin PackI was a bit tired of the whole LSPD theme at some point. And many people will agree when I say that GTA: Vice City was one of the best GTA games ever released. The atmosphere, the 80s, the story, the characters, everything was awesome. So I wanted to get a bit of that feeling back in my game, and worked on making a VCPD Skin pack, but also with Florida license plates for both civilian and police cars, to get more immersed while I was playing.
This download contains:
4 skins for the Vapid Stanier 1st Gen 4 skins for the Willard Marbelle 4 skins for the Declasse Merit 1 skin for the Police Transport 1 skin for the Police Bike 1 skin for the Police Maverick All license plates replaced with Florida license plates Links to the models used are provided in the download in a .txt file. The license plates are provided under the format of a vehshare.ytd file. If you already have a modified vehshare.ytd file, fear not, I'll release the license plates as dev parts so you can just get them there and install them manually.
Have fun with those!

Ofc. Vic reacted to Yard1 for a file, Bravado Buffalo 1st gen Mapped Default-StyleThis is a Bravado Buffalo 1st gen (police2) mapped to support liveries and a lighting setup identical as on the default model. The lightbar is set as an extra. meaning that the car may spawn in a slicktop configuration. If you don't wish for it to spawn without the lightbar, add FLAG_EXTRAS_REQUIRE to the vehicle's flag in vehicles.meta (in update.rpf).
Included in the archive are 8 High Quality (4096x4096) and 8 Standard Quality (2048x2048) - 4 LSPD and 4 LSSD skins and PSD files with editable unit number layers for both High Quality (4096x4096) and Standard Quality (2048x2048) allowing you to make additional unit numbers, should you wish to do so.
The glass works perfectly.

Ofc. Vic reacted to Yard1 for a file, Better Wanted Level System Police SpawningBetter Wanted Level System Police Spawning is a modification of the dispatch.meta file responsible for controlling what police units spawn during wanted levels.
There is 20% chance of a female cop / deputy (ratio based on official LAPD statistics). Additionaly, I've added new variations to the Marines spawned at Fort Zancudo during wanted levels, Police Boats are now manned by Coast Guards and one Buzzard with marines now spawns at Fort Zancudo at 5 stars. I am not going to add the Army - I find that unrealistic. If you want the Army, check out Custo's The Sixth Star mod.

Installation:
Install with OpenIV to update.rpf/common/data. This will prevent you from playing online, so make backups (I'd make a backup of the entire update.rpf to be sure). Also, if there is an update, you'll have to install this again.
