  1. The problem with that was that the download itself was corrupted. He sent me a new one.
  2. Firefighter767 I have just tried on a model that I have not edited at all lately. It is the previous version of the above model and it has had no problems before and no edits, and it is now showing up like this and exiting game with STR Failure.
  3. @Firefighter767They cam with the model. I even removed the base model and re imported the original into the file to make sure I dint mess something up on it. I have had this problem with 3 models that were working originally.

  5. Hello Community! I am wondering if anyone else is having a problem with exporting vehicles from Zmodeler. It could just be that I am having a stupid moment but anytime I export a vehicle lately the [wheel_lf] shows up inside the vehicle in OIV. All models that I have been exporting have all been properly working before and only minor edits were made. If anyone can enlighten me on this problem or find a fix it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance! Pictured is the problem I am talking about.
  6. Like stated above, its all about what there chasing for and the Departmental policy. I live in phoenix and there was a chase a few years back started by CHP that ended in Chandler, AZ and there were 1/2 CHP units that followed them the entire way because it was their chase.

  8. @Thero Here is the hierarchy, message bar and materials of the edited one by me. The only thing cut off in the hierarchy is the chassis [COL]. ON another note, the same failure appears with the base model from the downloads section.
  9. Hello Mod Community! So I am using the 2015 Tahoe Development Part uploaded by TheHurk. I have pretty good experience with Zmodeler and I have worked through most hurdles that have come up when modding vehicles but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to fix this model. I get an STR_Failure_3 when I spawn the vehicle. I have covered the forums for fixes to this error and so far I have tried raising the base value on the main dummy from everything from 50 to 300 and I have verified that all the textures are not using a default material. I only post here because I have exhausted all my options and in the community there is always at least one person that knows how to fix the problem. Thanks in advance!
  10. You could name it just 'Check Subject' and add the other stuff into the dispatch. The departments where i'm from usually just have a few basic 'Event Types' and either hot tone it out or just give the details via computer or radio when its sent out. Not sure how other dept's work though.
  11. These are all for V, I dont have IV anymore. I am using everything I can get my hands on which right now is 2008 and 2015 tahoes, 2013/2016 FPIU and PIU, Crown Vics, Chargers (all years), and Impalas. Any these are all Models. I don't make skin packs. I hat having a skin for an agency and a car that is totally opposite what they use. Also I only use cars that that agency actually has.
  12. I do plan on doing a lot of the valley emergency services. Right now I have a Scottsdale Police Pack on the verge of release, an MCSO pack started, a DPS pack about halfway done, and I am starting an engine. I am doing PD first though. Fire can wait lol they do enough of sitting anyways
  13. Hello LCPDFR community, I am planning on creating a semi realistic PFD Engine and considering I have a very limited amount of knowledge on Fire Light bars and equipment, I though I would ask. Does anyone know the name of this light head or who makes it. It can be seen in this video, it is the red 'semi-rotating' lights on the corner's of the ambulance. BTW I am talking about the ones underneath the main light bar that are on all sides of the ambulance.
  14. You can model an opticom lighthead and make it flash "opticom like" but there is no way you could actually make it work. I just modeled one and the models I create have one on them to some degree. Your best bet is to make one and just break intersections the old fashioned way.

Obviously I have no idea of the possibilities of ELS V, but drawing from experience with ELS in GTA 4 these were features that had to be set up with the car modder and was not necessarily run through the ELS script. Because each light or "extra" is essentially an in game object with a bright light texture on it, it is hard to make these objects change colors because they draw from a preloaded game texture.
  16. I saw this asked before but no answered, In the video I saw that there was 12 "Extras" available as opposed to 9 in the .ini. Do those have a purpose not yet described or are those available as actual light heads like extras 1-9?

  18. I know here in Arizona, almost all departments in the area that use a 3 stage lighting system have the first stage as all the rear only lights for DUI stops and stops on the highway and whatnot, the second and third are all the lights minus the siren or forward flashing white light.
  19. That has to do with whether the person who created the car has created the lighting to be able to do that. It is a feature that actually pushed me to make my own models and release them for realism but it can also be very difficult to set up because it takes up space from other vehicle componets. Not to mention it is near impossible to do when you dont have a ELS style plugin.
  20. Hello LCPDFR community, So I am having problems applying textures in Zmodeler3. I was just getting used to ZMod2 when 3 came out an now I am still adjusting. I can not for the life of me figure out how to apply a texture to an object. I can UV Map it but nothing shows up... ---------DISREGARD--------- After about an hour of trying I have stumbled across how to apply textures.
  21. @GravelRoadCop I know if you cant answer this, it is fine. But do you know if you can set which patterns it scans through. I make a couple Tomar Lightbars for GTA IV/V and the Tomar light patterns are a real pain to try and replicate. The patterns are all there ,they are just not put together.
