Officer Noms

Hello Everyone, Recently bought GTA V for the PC and, well, it worked fine for a couple days before the launcher stopped launching the game. If there's anything anyone can do to help, please do! It would be greatly appreciated. When I go to launch my game, the launcher pops up, begins loading, then just stops and nothing works, it just displays the Social Club logo and the GTA V case. It's 2 beeps that occur randomly and don't really have a particular order... It's weird. Maybe it's the cords? Some sort of disturbance?

Hello everyone... I have yet another issue with my computer. So, my speakers make two short beeps which are rather annoying. I assumed my motherboard was having some sort of an issue, but I thought that came from the motherboard itself, not my speakers. Similarly, when I use my headset, the beep goes away. I now think it's something with my speakers, but I could be wrong. Please help!

Pardon my ignorance on Zmodeler (I'm clearly not the best) but, as you can see, "extra_1" through "extra_4" do not have drop down menus and I'm not sure what you mean by "extra_5, extra_6, and extra_9 are set up differently than the rest." :[ And when I change the numbers to say "extra_1" I receive an error stating that there is already a layer with that name

I added this lightbar to this CVPI and now the lights partially stay on as if it were wired to the car as day running lights. Don't know what to do to fix this because about half of the lights work, but don't appear to have the red and blue textures on them. Please help!

Hey all, I hope I'm posting this in the right place. Anyway, was working on putting a lightbar onto a Dodge Ram. The Lightbar works fine, but it's the Dodge Ram I'm having issues with. The bumpers and mirrors don't spawn in with the truck, so I was hoping someone had some sort of suggestion on what to do or what I did wrong. Thank you! (The skin is supposed to look terrible btw)

Thanks for the help with the RAM, guys! My last computer was almost the same as the one I have now so it was compatible. Also, it was 6GB, not 8 like I thought. Either way, I now have more RAM in my PC (14GB )! Once again, thank you guys sooo much! I can now actually run GTA 4 at a nice 25-30 FPS while recording (I recorded to see how well my computer would be able to handle it ) and even more without! Not that I record, I just like to take pictures. It looks amazing! I can't say thank you enough! Considering I got about 15 frames without recording before, this is a major leap.

Hello all, I had to buy a new computer a few months ago because my last PC broke. It has 8gb of RAM. So did my last PC. If I scavenge the RAM sticks from my last PC and place them in my new machine, would that improve FPS? I'm going to do it anyway, but I was just curious. Does anyone have tips on adding RAM? Now for the real issue: Ever since I've had my new PC, it's been acting strangely. Before, the desktop background would just disappear. This isn't crippling, but it is rather annoying. It hasn't done this in awhile, but I would like to know if anyone has a fix to this in the event that it starts happening again. Also, I have two monitors. I switched out the second monitor to be the same as my main monitor and since then, whenever I shutdown my PC by going Windows(V.8)> Power [symbol] > Shutdown, and then turn on my PC at some other point during the day, the monitors will not display anything and will act as if the computer is not even on. However, when I do a hard reset (I.E. holding the power button), the monitors will act normally. Does anyone else have this issue? Again, this isn't crippling but it is terribly annoying.

I believe that for medical reasons, it is completely acceptable for someone to commit suicide. A few years back, we had a family friend who my brothers and I would call Aunt Lynda (bless her.) She was an amazing woman, very strong, very smart. She had also been dealing with cancer for many years and eventually got to the point where she could no longer walk since the cancer was in her thigh area. She was clearly in very much pain and had been for quite some time. One day she decided that she wanted to visit her son in Oregon for a few weeks. We did not know that she wouldn't return home, however. We believe that she went with assisted suicide to finally end her pain. We also believe that she knew she was going to die and only wanted to see her son before she left.

Thank you! I just like the power saving mode to save power, but I guess if I leave for awhile I can just turn off my computer. I'm too lazy to go through the process of turning everything back on. Major first world problems.

Hello all! About a month or two ago I purchased a brand new HP Pavilion desktop PC from Bestbuy because my other PC broke. It is not the best computer, but it runs GTA along with many other games. Anywho, since I have gotten it, the computer has had only one issue that I can't seem to fix... When it falls asleep, it will not turn on no matter how long I wait. When I tap my keyboard, the PC itself will act as if it is waking up again, but my screens don't receive any video from it until I hold the power button on the tower, turn it off, then back on again. Also, if it falls asleep for a short amount of time and I tap the spacebar on my keyboard to wake it up again, it acts normally and wakes up. Why is this? I have never had this issue before. If any of you have had the same or similar problems with your PC's and have any hints/tips/tricks to help me out, it would be awesome! Thank you all SO much! WantNoms

If you can get some car models together, I'd be able to make some textures for you! I don't have Zmodeler yet so I can't help you with your models.

I was actually going to make the front and rear bumpers on the cars a dark blue color to match the font, however I decided to test to see how the cars would look without the blue first. I agree, they do look too simple, but I think going black would be just as simple/generic. Plus I think black would clash with the blue colors that I have on the car already, but it won't hurt to try.
