Open IV 2.6.4

The latest version of Open IV, 2.6.4, is now available for download.  The newest update to the popular tool, which makes viewing and editing most the game's files possible, brings with it support for all of GTA V's audio files, including police scanner and speech lines.

Interestingly, the amount of dialogue included with the scanner is absolutely incredible, and we're working on implementing as much of it into LSPDFR as possible.  For those of you looking to play around with the speech files, you can use this tool http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/5443-gta-v-speech-decoder/ to decode them.

You can get the latest version of Open IV from http://openiv.com/

I hope you guys use some of the audio files from 01_attention_all_area_units.awc. Hearing some of those when a call came in would be so realistic,

Some interesting things I found in the "01_attention_all_area_units.awc" file were the dispatcher saying "Attention all Majestic County Units", and "Attention all Ventura County Units". Maybe Rockstar had different county names in mind before the release of the game, then changed it. None of the files reference Los Santos, or Blaine Counties.

I would like to see a civil defense siren all over LS-City, for like the biggest job you can get on lspdfr.

When will we be able to edit 3D models? I really hope I can get real life cars in GTA V.

The way this keeps going, Car Models will not be far off. Neither will be ELS at this stage.

I'm surprised by the fact that no one is mentioning or looking forward about the car model modding. There's no single topics about it on GTA communities(gtaforums,LCPDFR etc). Why is that? Maybe because default models are fine as them are?

I don't really care about car models our ELS in GTAV. I love the cars and the lights on them already. Of course I can understand if you want to mod it. But I'm much more hyped for LSPD mod features :)

I see new topics on "Why are there no GTA V car mods?" at least 2 or 3 times a week on this site alone.
