Greetings from the Staff at LCPDFR! Today we’ve had the special opportunity to meet another great LCPDFR Community Member taking the charge at making LSPDFR and GTA-V the ultimate police simulator. This specific individual has gifted us with an all-in-one modification that gives us the free range to create our own law enforcement personas as we patrol the streets and roads of San Andreas. If you haven’t guessed it yet we are obviously speaking in part of Alex_Ashfold and his Emergency Uniform Pack! So without further adieu our interview with Alex_Ashfold.
Q. When and why did you join the community?
A. I joined the community after I had glitched an LSPD uniform from the Heist Update! I had a clan with my friends and we took tons of screenshots of our gameplay and I wanted to share that with people who actually care about police stuff. So when I heard LSPDFR could be possible after all in GTA-V, I decided to upgrade my PC. I never expected to create mods, normally I'm the guy who just simply download them and thanked the authors.
Q. Do you have any other hobbies aside from the FR community?
A. Luckily I do! I Like workout at the gym and I am addicted to running. I’m also very passionate with emergency pre-hospital care since I started my studies in that field, although strangely I ended up becoming a cop. I also recently discovered I have a natural talent to make videos, (In GTA-V of course) and I really like making them, but sadly it’s harder to find the time.
Q. What gave you the idea to create EUP?
A. Pretty much the lack of uniforms in the original game. I wished for a long time that the next update would be something like ''Cops and Crooks'' or ''Obey & Survive''. So I saw a possibility in the game files and I took action to offer myself the thing I always wanted in GTA V. Now I'm sharing it with the community. Also, I felt trolled when they removed the gun holster from the online character belt.
Q. How long have you been working on EUP?
A. Pretty much since I got the game, so around the month of July.
Q. Is there anyone in the community that you would like to thank for EUP’s development?
A. Of course! I'de like to thank modders who inspired me.
-@Yard1 who inspired me with his simple, but high-quality lore-friendly content. I always I appreciated the time and efforts and does.
- @Lundy for being Lundy.
- @AlexVonShep for his support and appreciation and ''readme.txt'' inspiration!
- @PieRGud when he made his Cop Holster compatible with Emergency Uniforms Pack, he made realize without knowing that people appreciate my mod and that I should push it farther and include more uniforms variations and that's what I did, thanks to him for the motivation and his great mod.
Q. What are some issues currently plaguing development?
A. - Finding the time
- Making clear installation instructions (I really suck at this)
- Making decals (shoulder badges) on the short sleeves shirts, a lot of deformities compared to the texture file and its result.
- The black devilish flying square that haunts some of the outfit combinations.
Q. Finally, are you working on any other projects?
A.

I am currently working on more add-ons for EUP: Outdoor clothing, Feds and also enhancing the feminine addon.
But I also work on a project called Fat piggies! Which are gonna be included in

Finally, I wish to release ''True Belt'' a re-texture I made of the duty belt, featuring nylon belt with leather pouches and with@legionarius's radio texture. For now, included in EUP for all belts.

Well, that is all for the second issue of Member Behind the Mod. I’d like to thank Alex_Ashfold for taking the time for this interview, and I truly hope you’ve enjoyed getting to know Alex and his Emergency Uniforms Pack. Next time you’re starting up LSPDFR be sure to give his modification a try!
