Nope, it's why they do it.  They don't even recognize towed vehicles as vehicles.  Trailers and tow trucks towing cars are invisible to them.  With trailers, it works the same with LSPDFR.  You can't blip a vehicle from its trailer, you have to do some non legit shit to blip it.

I think it even dates further back to the good old San Andreas days. I remember many a wrecked Trailer back then.

At least now they make attempts of driving around. Back in SA they used to slam bluntly at the rear bumper. Once they even managed to set my trailer on fire. I was sooooo pissed (lost a trucking mission this way)
