In Custody

Paleto Bay RCMP and the City of Los Santos RCMP both issued an AMBER alert after a father called police alleging that his ex-wife had abducted their shared child.

The child was described as a nine year old girl, last seen wearing a pink tank-top, and blue jeans. The complainants ex-wife was on visitation, and it's alleged that while the father had left for a washroom break, the female had left the house with the child.

RCMP were called to the home around 9:00 PM Friday. The AMBER alert was issued shortly after 9:30 PM.

At around 10:40 PM,  RCMP in Paleto Bay observed a vehicle which matched the description of the suspects vehicle travelling towards the town. The member who observed the vehicle promptly stopped the vehicle and was able to confirm the suspects identity, and verify the safety of the child.

A Los Santos RCMP member responded to the scene to accept custody of the suspect, and child services ultimately accepted custody of the child, before transporting and releasing her to her father.

Tracie Jolene TRAVIS of Paleto Bay is facing various charges under the Criminal Code for;

Abducting a Minor

Contravention of a Court Order

Contravention of Conditions surrounding Child Custody

Improper Care of a Minor

TRAVIS is expected to appear in the Provincial Court in Los Santos next Monday.
