I need some input on this, since I don't live in Chicago. I saw photos with officers with black uniforms with rolled up sleeves and I can't use this model for the regular blue uniform so I decided to make it black, there's a short and long with tie sleeves version. 

The black uniforms are like used in the riots of 2008, I believe: NATO Protests. And that was maybe the only time I have ever saw them used them. They may have used them during the many... many BLM protests in the downtown area but I did not go so I don't know. Regardless, the uniform is most likely used during riots. Now, they usually dress in the blue or white outfit, depending on their rank. Sergeants would get white shirts while the normal cop would get blue. They are also usually required to wear bodyarmor, which is usually black with patches on it.

Officers with special duties (evidence technicians, K9) wear a black top instead of the sky blue most officers wear. SWAT wear a olive drab military looking uniform. Jackets, fleeces or sweaters are all black no matter the rank.
