A Lakeview County Police Corporal arrives on scene of a motor vehicle collision between a civilians car and a police cruiser. The police officer involved was attempting to stop another vehicle for a speeding offence, when the other vehicle crashed into the patrol car from behind. 

The driver of the vehicle was heavily intoxicated and was treated by EMS on-scene, before later being taken to jail. The police officer was not reported to be injured. Both the police cruiser and other vehicle were severely damaged and deemed unroadworthy, and will be sent for salvage.

Police have since cleared the scene and the highway is now fully open.
