Does the signal master have the individual LED's deveined? Because I have that on my work truck (LED gen 2 signalmaster) and it isn't blocks of light it's little dots lol

There was quite a few signal masters, LED and Halogen versions amongst different designs, if i recall correctly. Also, there was the VPX signal master, and the signal master that is shipped with the Vector/Vision bars.

it most probably is the sml8 halogen signalmaster, not the led version

the NW on the trunk means that it is from the Northwest area command. Here is a list of area commands that you can replicate.

Well if it's the halogen then it would need the lenses to be amber instead of clear, right? I may be wrong either way excited for the car!

no, the lensecolor does not define what type of light it is, its just the color of the lense

so they used amber colored light bulbs? (I'm speaking in  relation to the real one, not in game)

perhaps, idk how lvmpd has it set up.

I think (because the unit on my truck is actually off of an LVMPD vision lightbar) they replaced the halogen Signalmaster with the first gen led one which has individual leds much like a traffic light. (Attached is the one off my work truck for comparison)

It is the led one. Metro runs both the old halogen with the old colored lenses, and also the clear led one pictured above. On the SL vics they run the newer all amber signal master
