Today, Blaine County Sheriff Deputies encountered a group of individuals considered extremely dangerous.

The bunch had stolen a vehicle which contained over 2.5 million dollars worth of jewelry which was being transferred to a local jewelry store. 

At 4:05 PM, 911 operators dispatched units to a spotting of a stolen vehicle. After a chase where the culprits hit 70mph in the stolen vehicle, Blaine County Sheriff deputies, with the help of LSPD, LSSD, and NOOSE, the culprits were caught and are now behind bars pending court. 

Please stay vigilant, with the summer temperatures rising we expect a rise in tension and crime.
