I was under the impression that the agency this car is based off used LED's in the bubbles like Michigan State police are switching to:

I don't see why they can't just use LED bulbs and use the actual rotators instead of the retarded imitation effect. I know NYPD uses LED rotators, and they look damn bright.

motors can freeze in colder climates(North Coast where this department is based)) and would then require more money in maintenance.

But ya know, it's a video game so accuracy is simply an optional thing to do...Plus I don't feel like making some modern FS Beacon lights, and the new LED ones are impossible to replicate with the game's siren system. So I'd rather just use a very detailed bar(Great stuff from Solo). If the whole idea of a skybolt on this car is making you uncomfortable, I can remove the logos. Would you feel more comfortable with that?

I think LED is possible with the mars bar but it does not look good. Generally I find the LED and a Vintage Lightbar does not fit.

And of modern Cars a Vintage Lightbar looks noot good too. This is the wrong Epoche for Vintage Bars

Well, you can always try the NYPD setup. Use an ELS style mesh inside the rotators.

Inside the Glas make a Cylinder with 12 Sides and than use for one Poly of this one LED. I think so you can make it like LED But how its look is a other Side

Uhhh. What started off as a fuckaround car, is now a project. fml lol. 

Now I need to see if I can create a module that can give me the proper effect for the leds.  Thanks @solo.

Do you know if there is a way to slow down the rotators in the game? I feel like this thing won't look right with the rotators moving at the speed they do.

Yes, but you won't be able to use meshes with it. Which means no LEDs. You can try the ambulance's sirensettings, but then you will have to move the y axes far far down and deal without any enviromental effects.

I know that the Captured Transport and the Snow Police Car have slower Rotators but i dont know how can reduce the Speed of Rotators.

Alright, I think I'll put this project on hold for now. This is what I get for experimenting lol. I'll keep messing with it to see if I can get the desired effect I want, but thanks for the help guys

If you do find a way to get emissive light meshes to work as police lights on the policeold/policet siren setting, please tell me.

im not really sure but it looks like those new led beacons are code 3 arch 36 leds. they are mainly used on firetrucks though.

anyways i made one so if you are interested in using it hmu

pimdslr used it on his lafd firetruck

they are. i was walking up the street and a rmp had it lights going. it was about a block in back of me and the blue was shining on a apartment building almost a block in front of me. 

I live in Saginaw Michigan and this cop car looks amazing, the new retro cop cars look the best. good work and cant wait for it to be released.

Saginaw County, Michigan is doing this exact thing with 2015 Dodge Chargers... and I can't wait for it here!!
