Media had to stay behind the police car, because the victim was a minor. Police say he ran away from home after a fight with his parents when he tried to cross the street a black SUV ran a red light and hit the 14 year old kid. The SUV took off but luckily a near by civilian saw what happen and called 911. Doctors gave the kid a 0.1% of living; the driver of the black SUV was caught just a few streets over trying to hide his car. As of right now the kid is in critical condition.
