Officer involved in a vehicle accident.

An unmarked LSPD police interceptor vehicle collided with a LS Taxi earlier today in downtown Los Santos at the corner of Jamestown and Macdonald Street. Police report that the unmarked cruiser was responding to an officer needing assistance call with multiple shots fired. LSPD says that officer Scott Campbell, who was driving the unmarked unit,  tried to overtake a vehicle that was waiting at an intersection when a Taxi made a left turn and collided with the police vehicle. The driver of the Taxi, who has been identified as Mark Scatner, was pronounced dead at the scene. Scatner had been working as a Taxi driver in Los Santos for five years and had a clean driving record. Officer Scott Campbell, who was driving the police vehicle, only suffered minor bruising. The LSPD has said that they are doing further investigations regarding this incident and will have more information shortly.
