Officer-Involved Shooting
DEL PERRO -- A shootout at the corner of N. Rockford Drive and Marathon Ave. has left three dead and two injured. Police say 23-year-old Manuel Vasquez, 26-year-old Eric Willis and 25-year-old Erin Chambers, all from Vespucci Beach, Los Santos, led police in a high-speed pursuit in a grey Vapid Speedo through downtown following a silent alarm at a convenience store. During the chase, the suspects opened fire on officers. The chase was shut down after their van collided with an oncoming Imponte Ruiner and spun out at the southeast corner of North Rockford Drive and Marathon Avenue. Vasquez, Willis and Chambers were all pronounced dead on the scene. Officer Mikhail Volkner was taken to the Mount Zonah Medical Center for gunshot wounds, and is expected to make a full recovery. The driver of the Imponte Ruiner, 31-year-old Alan Richards of Del Perro, refused treatment on the scene. Police have not made any statement as to whether this was a gang-related incident or not.
LSPDFR in action, nothing staged. Mostly playing with depth of field.
