MSP On The scene (5)

Nutt

From initial eyewitness reports, a 2012 Sterling Heights Police Dodge Charger was traveling westbound towards Montauk Ave at very high-speeds, while a Macomb County Sheriff Chevy Tahoe was traveling eastbound towards Montauk Ave. Both police vehicles were in route towards reported drag-racing between three civilian vehicles heading southbound on Montauk Ave. Details are still sketch at this time, however, eyewitness reports are confirming that the MCSD officers had all three civilian drag-racers stopped, before the SHPD Charger collided into the MCSD vehicle within minutes of the stop. Both officers from MCSD were reported to be ok - with minor bruises... while the SHPD officer was last reported to be in critical condition. Michigan State Police are handling the investigation...

Hey Tyler, MSP vehicle fleet contains quite a few colors, including black. The black units are more geared towards stealth operations, usually marked on the passenger side.
