DeKalb Police Bust a Burglary Ring

Earlier this evening, a 911 call reported two males loudly arguing outside a Meadow Hills residence. Shortly after, a DKPD officer responded to the scene and found a single subject cursing and pounding on the front door. The officer detained the man and heard the sound of loud arguing and glass breaking inside. After backing units arrived, the officers forced entry into the home and found two males fighting. What they also found caused the Auto Theft and Property Crimes Unit detectives to respond to the scene, as officers came across several unregistered firearms and multiple items recently reported stolen from homes in the nearby area.
