While there's nothing wrong with using them, I just feel they're a bit tacky. They're super easy to spot, too.

some of them aren't too too bad, but yeah most of them are fairly tacky. Oh for sure, I can spot them a mile away haha. But yeah maybe its time to make up some custom stuff.. been meaning to do it for sometime but i took the lazy way out *hides* :P

I've pretty much made one badge that I use on all of my sheriffs cars from now on, provided they use that badge shape, of course. ^^

For me, the only thing that has stopped me on making my own, is I have no idea on how to get my text circular. Ive tried so many methods but I can only get the text in a semi arc position. If I can get the text circular then I could prob make some fairly decent vehicle decals.

Assuming you use Photoshop, you create a circle using the shape tool and then just click on the trace line using the text tool and the text will wrap around the outer edge of the circle as you type. That's how I do it. 

Yeah i tryed that, unless im doing something wrong it never works for me hahha. What PS you running, im using an older version, could be the problem there. PS7.0
