113Alex 4 Posted December 13, 2014 Why should officers stay out of the area? (If you're using LAPD's radio codes) The LAPD Code 6 is "Out of Car on Investigation". I've just arrived on scene (fictitious scene). Code Six. When a unit is conducting a field investigation and no assistance is anticipated, a "Code Six", followed by the location, shall be broadcast. A unit shall not go "Code Six" until it arrives at the scene of a call. Quote Link to comment

Crizby 902 Posted December 13, 2014 Yeah, haha! All these codes :P They're messing up my head. E.G. 10-50 in Florida is a traffic stop while in LAPD codes it's someone under influence of drugs. Quote Link to comment
