the uniform consists of a yellow/blue wicken t-shirt, along with cycle shorts with the words "police" down the leg. The officers also wear fingerless cycle gloves.

all the officers are trained to the full International police mountain bike Association standard. The unit will be deployed in areas of high burglary, and high tourist populated areas. Star junction will be a primary focus for the unit due to severe traffic congestion, pedestrianize zones and alleyways where a conventional police vehicle is unable to conduct patrols.
