The stretcher looks nice, indeed. I might use it. But the FDNY uses this one:

The small quadraflares right ?

It's easy:

#1 create a box ;

#2: select the vertical edges (in editable poly);

#3: with the connect tool, add 1 or 2 edges;

#4: select only the new created edge(s), and scale it on the Y axis;

#5: use the chamfer tool, to make it smoother, and better.
