*Official Statement from BCSO* Lt. Jimbob and another Deputy were shot by a truck driver who attempted to flee from officers, both Lt. Jimbob and Dep. Carlile survived. The suspect was aprehended and medics were called for Lt. Jimbob whom continued to pursue suspect until they came to a final stop near Great Ocean Hway.
