DARRYL LINKS WAS ARRESTED ON SEVERAL CHARGES INCLUDING DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE (B.A.C. .206%); POSSESSION OF ILLEGAL/CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES (HALLUCINOGENIC MUSHROOMS, ECSTASY/MDMA); AT FAULT IN A MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT; AND DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED LICENSE. MR. LINKS NOTIFIED THE LSIA SECURITY TEAM OF A MINOR MVA IN THE LSIA PARKING STRUCTURE, TO WHICH DEPUTY MILLER RESPONDED. UPON ARRIVAL, DEPUTY MILLER DOCUMENTED THE SCENE AND OBSERVED ABNORMAL BEHAVIORS (SLURRED WORDS, INVOLUNTARY EYE MOVEMENT, DILATED PUPILS) WITH THE CALLER. A ROUTINE CRIMINAL HISTORY CHECK REVEALED A SUSPENDED LICENSE. AT THIS TIME DEPUTY MILLER DETAINED MR. LINKS AND CONDUCTED A SEARCH OF HIS PERSON, WHICH REVEALED HALLUCINOGENIC MUSHROOMS. A SEARCH OF THE VEHICLE WAS THEN EXECUTED, WHICH LED TO THE DISCOVERY OF ECSTASY/MDMA IN THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR. MR. LINKS WAS OFFICIALLY PLACED UNDER ARREST AND AWAITS A COURT DATE OF 03/23/2022. LATER BREATHALYZER TESTING AT THE LOS SANTOS COUNTY JAIL REVEALED A BLOOD ALCOHOL CONTENT OF .206%.
