PALETO BAY RESIDENT ARRESTED ON MULTIPLE DRUG CHARGES

AT APPX. 2110HRS ON MONDAY, MARCH 21ST, 2022, SUSP. MEGAN WILD WAS ARRESTED ON SEVERAL CHARGES INCLUDING DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED LICENSE AND POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES (LSD AND PCP). MS. WILD FAILED TO SIGNAL AT THE INTERSECTION OF PALETO BLVD. AND THE GREAT OCEAN HIGHWAY, WHICH PROMPTED A ROUTINE TRAFFIC STOP FROM DEPUTY MILLER OF THE LOS SANTOS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE. A CRIMINAL HISTORY CHECK REVEALED THAT MS. WILD WAS DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED LICENSE, AND HAS BEEN CITED FOR SUCH IN THE PAST, WHICH IS GROUNDS FOR ARREST IN THE STATE OF SAN ANDREAS. AFTER MS. WILD WAS PLACED IN CUSTODY, DEPUTY MILLER AND ACCOMPANYING DEPUTY KIRKLAND DISCOVERED TABLETS OF LSD IN THE DRIVER DOOR AND TABLETS OF PCP ON MS. WILD'S PERSON. MS. WILD WAS THEN ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (X2), DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED LICENSE, AND WAS CITED FOR FAILURE TO SIGNAL. MS. WILD AWAITS A COURT DATE OF 3/23/2022.
