Unsupported Game Patch

Featured Replies

When I try to load up lspdfr it bring up a message saying that I have an outdated version of the game that isnt supported. I have seen other topics with the same problem and other people have been told to verify the game files through steam and it would force an update wich I did but its till the same game version. I dont understand why its not updating or anything. It says I need the game version: 1868 and I have 1737. Any suggestions on what to do?

Adding on to what was said here, this is how you can update:

Steam:
1. Go to your Steam Library.
2. Right click on GTA 5.
3. Select Properties.
4. Go to the Local Files tab.
5. Select "Verify Integrity of Game Files..."

Retail:
1. Go to your GTA Main Directory.
2. Right click on the "GTA5Launcher.exe".
3. Select "Create Shortcut".
4. Right click on the shortcut you just created.
5. Select Properties.
6. In the Shortcut tab, find the target line and at the end of it, put a space and add this: "-verify".
7. Launch the shortcut.

Hope This Helps! 🙂

Thanks! When I validate the files, it says 4 files failed to validate and then it starts to download something. Once its done I try to start up lspdfr and it still says that game version isnt supported still. Am i supposed to be doing something after it downloads the stuff?

There shouldn't be anymore to do after that. You may have to re-install RPH.
