guys i started g17 diagnostic tool and said im missing asi loader so i downloaded asi loader and i put it into my gta folder but it still says im missing it please help it the problem that i play for 7 or 10 mins and game just goes crasy it freezes black screen comes up and then it just stops working so please help

Are you sure that you placed it in the proper place (main folder)? Also, what ASI loader are you trying to put in?

there is an ASI loader with the LCPDFR install, I suggest using that. ASI loaders go in to your ROOT GTAIV folder. for steam it will look something like "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto IV\GTAIV\" and for non-steam it should be something like "C:\Program Files (x86)\Grand Theft Auto IV\GTAIV\"

i now but i didnt replayc the asi loader still say im missing it so i got a new asi loader and still sayed im missing it so the system is stupid or i dont know

2) Is all of your GTA IV folders not marked as "Read Only"? P.S. Easy way to check is to go into program files, and right click GTA IV (folder), and then go to properties where you will find a "read only" select.

Like he said make sure your running the LAUNCHGTAIV.EXE as admin that will fix alot of problems.

Also try to delete the ASI loader fully than reinstall it. Also make sure you are installing it in the right place..

yes its marked read only and im running the game as admin but there be no diffrence becuase i can play the game for like 10 or 12 mins and then just freezes and crashes

It should not be read only, make sure the box is UN CHECKED!
