So, I just installed GTA V from the rockstar launcher, copied LSPDFR to the game folder and then did the same with ragehook, now when I lauch ragehook, even with admin privileges, the game will just crash when the sirens in the loading screen start playing. Don't really know what the cause may be.

If you are referring to windows defender then try disabling it and launching the game.

 

You can find your RPH logs in

 

Grand Theft Auto V >> Logs

There is no folder named "Logs" in the GTA V game folder, which is odd.
I only started the game once, did the prologue, but the logs folder should be there....

Hi,

 

The logs folder is for RPH. Have you attempted to disable your windows defender.

 

Look through your directory for anything that might be a RagePluginHook log.

Yeah, just tried it, it still crashes. 
Don't really know what is causing this, and why I don't have a RPH logs.

Yeah, it does work.
From what I read in some discords and RagePluginHook discord, a lot of people are having the same issues, it's most certainly because of the new update of the Casino Heist, I guess LSPDFR and Rage haven't updated yet???

RPH and LSPDFR are both up to date. They were released yesterday.

Hmm.... then.... I have no idea on what may be causing this problem.

The best advice I can give you is this...

 

Remove LSPDFR and RPH. Install LSPDFR manually but before you do ensure that GTA V launches fine on it's own. Once you are happy that it launches fine on it's own (Vanilla) then manually install LSPDFR and go from there.

That's exactly what I did when I got the game. I played the prologue, then left the game and installed LSPDFR manually, then rage. So you're saying I should do it again?

Ah my apologies this has been going on for a while that I had forgotten this was on the back of a fresh installation. 

 

I am a little bit confused without any RPH logs and I am not sure why you don't have any RPH logs.  It's not something I've ever come across before.

Well, I am kinda confused aswell, people on the Rage discord couldn't find the logs, but after some time they managed to find it. I just can't, not even with search bar. I got Rage from the official site, so I don't know why it's behaving like this.

Do you have OpenIV?

 

You said you don't have any Anti-Virus? You have windows defender but don't disable that as it won't do anything. If you have any form of AntiVirus please disable it.

This also seems to be a RPH issue so I would suggest speaking to the RPH guys on their discord as I'm sure they can help out more than I am.

Someone told me to download OpenIV in the Rage discord, then a mod said it didn't really make much sense, but yeah, i do have OpenIV installed, and yes,the windows defender is my only anti-virus.

Not too sure about that. It was just sent to you in the discord but for the purpose of here I'll drop it in again.

 

Make sure you have all of the requirements installed. If it says you already have them installed; reinstall them to be sure.

Then, add your GTAV folder (named Grand Theft Auto V, nothing else) to your Antivirus exceptions.

 

Then, reninstall LSPDFR 0.4 manual and Rage.
