I could be wrong here, but there is a chance this mod is outdated. If you wish to turn down the ambient events, you can go into the LSPDFR.ini and turn down the max events to 0. However, I am not sure if there is a way to reduce the police chases.

    Wherever you added the original files is where you remove them. If it was an .oiv file, you may need to make a new mods folder.
