All,, I hope someone can help. I have made so many mistakes with these updates that I have actually had to reinstall windows. I cannot seem to win here. So my latest install was fresh, which was working fine. Then I loaded LSPD+ arrest manager I believe, and when it first runs, it asks something about key bindings and then controller. I think I hit the wrong option, and now my controller no longer does anything at all in the game. I cannot see a way to put it back. Please tell me I don't have to uninstall and reinstall the game again. HELP PLEASE!!

update, I haven't done anything different, but the controller began working all of a sudden. Then it stopped working again, and I couldn't initiate a traffic stop. This also crashes frequently, and when trying to load, half the time I get the insufficient privileges or bad antivirus message. If I close and restart, it works. I am really confused if I did something wrong, or this is just the way it works.
