Hello.

       I'm stumped by this one. As the title states, I'm experiencing a game crash when entering certain vehicles. The two vehicles in question are the sheriff2 slot and the pranger slot. I've attached the only video I have of this crash, which only shows the sheriff2 car. However, the crash is identical for pranger. You'll notice that you won't warp into the car when spawning, and it immediately crashes when trying to enter. This issue isn't appearing in any other mod/add-on cars. Any advice on where to start looking for this problem is appreciated.

What file did you recently edit prior to this crashing?

my apologies for the delayed response.

       The only two files I remember editing before this issue occurred were the carvar and vehicle meta to add  the additional slots for the sheriff3 through 9 cars. I am using albo's mod dlc and I have the modified game config to allow for extra cars.

In my experience, crashing while entering a vehicle/unable to enter a vehicle is a result of one of two things

 

1) Modified vehiclelayouts.meta

 

2) A particular vehicle not liking the vehicles.meta line it was assigned.  I think this happens with SUVs, Trucks and bigger vehicles that might need a meta line base that is from an SUV, like fbi2 or sheriff2.

 

Double check the sheriff2 meta and just make sure everything looks right.  If it does, delete and re-add the sheriff 2 meta line, this time using a different meta line that works, like fbi2.

Ahhh! As soon as I read "vehiclelayouts.meta," I remembered I added a bearcat and it had it's own vehicle layout meta. I'll try replacing it with the original and see what happens.

 Hello So i just actually realized i have the same issue i also added a bear cat and changed my vehicle layout but the problem is i dragged and dropped it in and i dont know what to change in vehicle layout to fix it to enter vehicles and stop crashing my game can anyone help??

I'm having the same issue I also just added a bearcat and some of my vehicles crash the game when I try to enter them  but I am not sure where to find or how to revert to the original vehiclelayouts.meta, if you could help me with this it would be greatly appreciated.
