Anyone else getting this issue, just reinstalled Grand Theft Auto V - Reinstalled LSPDFR a couple times now, was working fine. up until today. Will not hook, haven't changed my anti-virus program either, still running Windows Defender. Let me know if anyone  else has had any issues the same as this.

There is no crash log, it doesn't hook therefore RPH doesn't launch. Therefore there is no crash log.

I'm having the same issue after pre-loading RDR2.

Start GTA.  Once you're on the home screen to select singleplayer, online, etc, select singleplayer.  Right after clicking it, alt tab out and start Rage.

Lets have some more constructive tips, I've done all the basic attempts. It doesn't work regardless of the order. If RagePluginHook.exe launches the game through steam, then it has permission to work, it not hooking with the game is the issue. Regardless if it's launched through RPH at startup or attempted after I've launched it through steam. Neither work, it's not an issue with the anti-virus software since any program through Steam is exempt from restrictions.

I suggested that way because that is what I do every single time and it works without fail.

 

Since it was working for you previously, double check all of your files, compare it with the Rage and LSPDFR download.  It could be that your AV deleted one of the files, marking it as malicious.  It happens quite often.

Reinstalled RPH, LSPDFR and GTA V now about 4 times in the last day it's not missing anything. Just doesn't want to work, I've given up. No logs to read, no code to decipher. Just some stupid glitch in the system.

What is the name of your GTA V folder that contains Rage?

That's an external drive, correct?  If so, that might be the issue.  I've never used an external HD, so I don't know too much about how it works with modding.

It's a SSD Samsung Evo 960 500gb. I've always run my games on a that SSD everytime it's been installed and worked fine before, I haven't ran it off my E:) Drive which is a 4tb HDD. But I run ownership over all my drives. So which location shouldn't matter in my opinion.

Everything was the same since the last time I installed LSPDFR, same location, same computer nothing has changed. I just reinstalled all new Download files, like and LSPDFR, all the plugins and mods too,  I have tried running RPH in elevated privileges but it does not work either. Running out of ideas to be honest, I was usually the one to help people with issues like this and now I'm completely stumped. 

For the sake of  this though, I'm going to move GTA-V to my OS folder for now and see if it changes anything.

Unfortunately, I'm about out of ideas as well, but I did some Googling for you.  Here's a couple things to try.

 

1) Right click all .exe and .dll files that comes with RAGE Plugin Hook, click Properties, then click the Unblock button. If there's no unblock button, that's fine.

2) Basically, he said there's an issue with how you're transferring files.

 

 

 

 

I have the options set that no file I install is blocked, I know most people who run Windows don't program it to work how they want it to, so sadly that's not the issue either :S. Just moved my file over, going to see if it works.

Even talked to the RPH guys they couldn't help either, I guess I'll wait for a patch since i'm not the only one experiencing this issue. If anyone figures it out, please post it up!

Got it working one time, honestly did nothing different, but after it loaded in I tried to force a "Loadplugin LSPDFR" and I got this crash report, haven't been able to get RPH hooking since then... So that rules out permissions.

I reinstalled LSPDFR and removed the corrupt memory error, seems to be running now with LSPDFR but I can't get it to hook every time, it's defiantly  a swing or a miss.

You propably tried thsi already, but try starting your game in windowed or borderless window mode. And if you have the space for it, move the game to your fastes drive, propably your C drive. That´s what helped me, and I hope it will maybe help you too, but I honestly doubt it - still worth a try though
