Police car vehicle models [ELS]

Featured Replies

Hello for the files: police, police2, police3, police4, and policeb, I cannot change the vehicle models. Sheriff and FBI work but the police ones don't. I am using patchday 21. Not sure if I'm supposed to use patchday 21. I'm not sure what photos or links I have to provide so if needed I will get it. I'm 100% sure I put all the .yft and _hi.yft in the correct places, because I did the exact same thing for sheriff and sheriff2. These are also ELS cars. When in game and I spawn police2 car for example, I turn the ELS lights on at the 3rd stage and the police nudge bar keeps disappearing and appearing, and the side light keeps disappearing and appearing.

Hi there!
Please make sure to always install the ELS VFC that comes with the vehicle. To me it sounds like you might accidentally be using the wrong VFC.
And about the patchday21, that should work.. I use it too. I´ll just find and send you a pack real quick and kindly ask you to try installing that to see if it might just be those specific vehicles you have there at the moment.

If all of this is not working i recommend doing it the longer way replace them one by one.

For this you need to have update and x64e.rpf in your mods folder.

Police, Police4, Policet, Fbi, Ambulance they all go into x64e.rpf

Update folder:

Policeb -> Patchday1

Fbi2 -> Patchday2

Police2, Sheriff, Sheriff2, Firetruk -> Patchday3

Police3 -> Patchday4

This should replace all of the cars.

At least this is how I always do it and it works just fine

Sadly after doing that it still did not fix it 😞 If you look at my screenshot, are those the vanilla police cars for lspd? Also, what did you mean by Police, Police4, Policet, Fbi, Ambulance they all go into x64e.rpf? Do those not go in any of the patchdays?

Those are captain14's cars.. go into mods/update/update.rpf/common/data dlclist.xml and move his add-on file higher up the list. His is probably on the bottom of it which overrides the latest patchday

So I move the lspdpack to the top and then it makes my police cars vanilla again? Like, I want to add another police model version but captain14's is always the one that shows up

So if you want to have those cars in your game you have to rename them to idk police55/66/77 if you don't want them in your game you can just delete this line (<Item>dlcpacks:/sup/</Item>) out of your dlclist.xml. Or you go into your update folder and remove the folder named lspdpack.
