So I've had enough of trying. 

 

I've read everything, I've watched everything. Followed every guide, suggestion, tip, etc to the letter and still can't get lspdfr to work. I've deleted and tried from fresh numerous times. I've tried downgrading to GTAIV with lcpdfr and same.

 

Years and years ago when lcpdfr came out, I was only able to get lcpdfr to work back then by someone installing it themselves on my computer remotely. I think I may have to do that again.

 

Last time I tried LSPDFR, fresh install of GTA V, downloaded newest version of LSPDFR, followed the videos, manual install, ragehook, etc. Game would run fine on its own, but the LSPDFR never worked. Everytime I tried to launch it from the rage plugin as shown, it wouldn't make it to the loading screen. Would just give me an error. 

 

So needless to say I'm out of patience and I'm asking for any good soul out there to help me. 

 

For years I've been wanting to play LSPDFR but can't. Can only watch in misery from youtube.

 

I'm fine with  someone doing a remote connection to my PC and helping me with this. I don't know what I am doing wrong, or what the issue(s) are.

Hi Mitch,

 

You say you get an error message when you try to launch RagePluginHook - what does it say? Do you only have one GTA V folder?

Hey Zen,

 

Yes I only have the one folder. I had deleted the entire game and lspdfr, so I can't pull up the exact wording at this time. I'm doing another fresh install incase someone wishes to help me. 

 

It was related to rage plugin. I would install lspdfr, rage, and when I would launch rage to play lspdfr, it would load the rockstar then crash to a small window indicating an error (can't recall what it said, got to pissed off after a million tries).

Have you tried adding your entire GTA V folder to your antivirus exceptions list? Running in forced window mode? Forcing DirectX11? You can access the settings page by holding down shift immediately after launching RPH 🙂

Hmm, have you tried taking ownership of the GTA V folder and all sub-folders using your windows account, and then giving yourself full control?

Not sure I know what you mean. I tried launching as Administrator.
