Good morning!

While waiting for my son to fall asleep last night (6 days old now) I had a thought of a feature that would add to the realism in a small way. I haven't found a mod yet that discusses the idea, but I found a topic many years ago that mentioned it. No resolution was found though. Old discussion below 🙂

An odometer that you could track your mileage while driving. The base game tracks how many "miles in a vehicle" and "miles on foot". If there was a way to manipulate that for a 2016 FPIU to start with.... 45k miles for example. Ideally it would be awesome if the vehicle could save that over between sessions, but even something that could be modified via .ini. Perhaps if it was a vehicle that would be parked at your apartment or something. Really cool idea would be having it on the actual vehicle Odometer, but on the HUD seems more reasonable.... maybe in a new Speedometer?

The benefit to this is that when an officer is transporting a suspect to jail, they callout their starting and ending mileage. It would give something, at least for streamers, something extra to include while on patrol. (especially useful for FiveM, since they're looking to be as realistic as possible, and don't skip the transports by having AI come out. 😛

Just a thought! I have no experience with scripts, but wanted to pass that idea along.
