Bloomfield, NJ Police Siren

Featured Replies

A while ago I've seen a video from the Bloomfield Police in New Jersey in which you could see their Different Police cars respoding with lights and siren. However I could not yet find their siren on this web page, so If anyone knows where I can find the siren files I would highly appreciate your help.

If the sirens are not available here is someone able to make them with his own siren ? (Howler™ Low Frequency Tone Siren)

The siren in the video: http://www.whelen.com/auto/product?head_id=9&cat_id=68&prod_id=415

Thanks in advance,

It sounds very much like the sirens the NYPD use, the NYPD uses the Federal signal SS2000.

A short demo of the siren (It might not sound exactly like it because the demo does not use a rumbler):

It's a Whelen of Sorts, not a smart siren. The two sound nothing alike, the Wail, Yelp, Priority, and Auxiliary tones sound nothing similar, and have completely different tones. Possibly a Cencom Sapphire, a Whelen Epsilon, or some other siren. Time to do some research.
