Backup giving up on pursuit

Featured Replies

Right, here's the deal:

I've been having issues with backup during pursuits for quite a while now, but never bothered to ask for help, until today. So here's the scenario:

Imagine yourself, chasing down a suspect that is in a fast car (for my situation an armored Karuma), and you would like some help with the pursuit, so like every other sane person, you open up your favourite backup menu and request them, no problem so far. When they arrive, they chase the suspect for approximatly 1 minute until they realise that they  are not real living people and refuse to help any longer with this chase. They turn off their siren and stop pursuing, with their blimp dissapearing from the map.

This happens to me with most of my backup and leaves me with 1 or 2 units left in the chase.

The mods and plugins I have:

Plugins:

Screenshot_2.thumb.png.2a9833904059221e621aa8d4a9f37f2d.png

For my scripts, I have:

  • ELS
  • PLD
  • Metric_Speedometer
  • Play your audio

My other notable files are:

  • EUP
  • Custom police cars
  • Custom siren

And that's about it on that front.

I've already tried:

  • Poking around in the configs of most of my plugins, including LSPDFR.
  • Requesting more backup.

If someone knows what is going on here, please reply.

Thanks in advance!

Update:

I've narrowed the issue down to a few plugins:

  • Ultimate Backup
  • Arrest manager
  • Stop the ped
  • Traffic Policer
  • Basic callouts
  • Super callouts

I however have doubts that it has anything to do with the plugins itself. When I removed all plugins, there appeared to be no problem. I used the hot pursuit callout from Super/Basic callouts as I think It might have to do with the backup not being able to keep up. After some testing with both UB and default backup and the default and the hot persuit callout, I have concluded that the cause of it might be that the car is going too fast for the police to keep up and them giving up. I heard an audio fragment when passing a car sounding like: "Ah, we'll let this one go." If my doubts are correct, this is caused by LSPDFR itself.

The question now is, how do I change the distance cops can go from the suspect before giving up?
