i can start if i delete the mod and reinstal gta4 but if i instal the mod and i do the things you need to do it doesnt start

I had this same problem all day yesterday.

I found that after i updated GTA to 1.0.7.0 (the latest version) and made sure i wasn't running DSOUND and XLiveless at the same time, it loaded up and ran smoothly.

Hope this helps somehow, i'm new to this too.
