I recently did a completely fresh reinstall of GTA V and LSPDFR; game version 1.0.1737.0 Steam, RPH version 1.68. However, when I boot up the game via RPH, it instantly crashes to desktop. When I boot GTA itself without RPH, it works fine. I have tried many different methods to fix it, but it keeps crashing. Any help from someone who got their game to work would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I recently did a fresh install of everything and was having the same issue. Stumbled upon an article that mentioned removing the .common file in your GTA V Mods folder. Once I did that, it started up no issues. Hopefully that helps.

It appears to be something with DirectX. Under RPH settings, I checked “Disable DirectX Hook,” booted RPH, and unchecked it. Seems to actually boot now for some odd reason.

Try to delete/ rename mods folder, so it won't load.
