gta5.exe yeah steam will just update any outdated versions good if you have the disk but not digital. the person i spoke with last night gave me an exe that was missing files from steam and wouldn't download and it comes from an non trusted source. hell i can say i have a fix and give you a virus lol.

this is why lspdfr staff needs to approve mods or any file that moves though there site so its safe most people know jack about coding and there's alot especially some trusted company's stealing and sharing your private infomation to foreign countries.

That so called workaround doesn't work, at least not for me since socialclub works different nowadays than it used to. I guess the only option is to wait until scripthook is updated.

I have the game through steam and it didn't update when I launched the game.

You must be doing it wrong. You have to run the game by opening the GTA5.exe after putting the No_GTAVLauncher.asi in your directory, then open RagePluginHook.

Will we also need to wait for an update to Scripthook V dot net?

I would think that since Scripthook V was probably set up off of running through steam im sure there are a few loops they have to fix to make it go through Rockstar launcher now.

Tbh I feel like they need to separate this damn Rockstar launcher and just let rph and shv run lspdfr or they need to delete the Rockstar launcher and let that only run other Rockstar games ever since they release the dimond casino it was having problems updating but evr since then it got a lot worst!

I've done exactly what you said but as it starts I have to sign in to social club which then tells me it cannot connect to online. And there's no offline option. But since I did what you said, how exactly am I doing it wrong?

 

Got a fix. I moved the 1737.6 GTA V and the new version of the GTA Launcher onto the desktop (so I can add back in when scripthook updates). Then went into my backup files, dragged in version 1737.0 and the previous launcher and put them into to my current GTA V directory. Boom, it works.

And the Launcher didn't automatically update itself? 

 

Steam didn't try to update gtav.exe?

Nop mate, not at all. Works just like it always did. I’m just doing it like this anyway until the update, but everything works perfectly.

can you make a copy of your backup i have no working versions
