Yup that's about the size of it. Just gotta wait for an update. Usually only takes about a week for Scritphook to be updated.

They fixed a bug that was keeping the game from running in offline mode.

 

I removed ScripthookV and started up the game and the version number text during startup hasn't changed, But it must be reporting something else internally that is making SHV think it's a different version.

 

the latest SHV should run any version of GTA V up to and including 1737.

 

EDIT: I just looked at the info for gta5.exe snd it shows version number 1737.6

 

That's why it's not working.

Maybe a question that can't be answered until everything is back up to running, but what is the likelihood of these new updates breaking compatibility with existing plugins and scripts?  It's sad that many of the great Albo plugins have been slowly becoming less stable with time as a result of not being updated (though no blame directed at him.)  It just seems a bloody shame.  I remember when LSPD:FR was first released.  It was fantastic, but then some great modders came along and made it even better.  It seems in the past year or so, many of them have moved onto other projects in their lives, and LSPD:FR is slowly slipping back to being a standalone mod.  Don't get me wrong, it's a great mod and provides hours of entertainment, but well... ya know, once you've tasted the forbidden fruit.  Kind of hard to go back.  😞

Well I played yesterday and everything seemed it's usually cheery, weird, glitchy self.  I ran the game through the R* Launcher and then kicked up RPH and everything was fine. 

 

Today's (well, yesterday now) update was just a bug fix behind the scenes so it shouldn't adversely affect game play, so your prisoners should jump in their car and drive off with their hands behind their backs as usual 😉

 

Assuming ScriptHookV is updated soon. 

 

Yeah we could use some new scripts, no doubt, and I mean utility scripts. New callouts are always great. But better inner workings is more important to me.  As a retired police officer I spent years doing the same thing over and over, I'm used to that 🤣

 

But if one day I walked up to a suspect and I couldn't talk to him, I might have an issue. 

 

Everyone seems to want to only do cars these days (which became an issue with LCPDFR after a few years also). 

 

But,  RPH was updated today, hopefully SHV will be along soon, and we should be back to "normal"

Penso che R * cerchi di ignorare il fatto che LSPDFR è la vera ragione per cui le persone giocano ancora a GTA V.

Ma tutto ciò che possiamo fare è aspettare e sperare che l'hook dello script venga aggiornato presto.

Nothing to do but wait for them to update scripthhok or disable it for the time being but els and scripts folder might not work updates happens.  

Surely it shouldn’t take too long to make a new update for SHV since the update was only really a launcher update?

 

I don’t mean that in a bad way towards the developer, I’m just enquiring if it would be a quick fix?

please how can i roll back my gta and bar rockstar from ever touchign the game i bought rememebr the good old days when you took the game home on disk and no one could touch it you owned it   sadly the only version of gta you can keep untouched is the pirated version even tho i own it if they keep this up ive got the receipt and the right to downlaod a copy for myself  that cant be  messed with or updated   or you coudl tell em a easier way please

 

ps just bought enforcer   police crime on steam cause im too pissed about lspdfr  currently and rockstar and its only 5 dollars   i know its about as good as police simulator but its still ok for 5 dollars max

no scripthook isn't fixed thats what we're all waiting for.

I reverted back to the previous version thinking that would fix it, but it just says Launching Game Via Steam and doesn’t load. Assuming this is because the launcher has been updated.

only option is to disable script hook but els and other mods in your script folder won't work

😞 That’s the best part lol.

 amen but i've been talking with a few developers and i can say there's a suprises in the mix to come but we have to give it a while since most modders work or go to school and some learn and just build for fun so give it time in sure you'll be pleased with the outcome. but alot of glitches lays within certain mods t just not lspdfr. but i agree some fine tuning is needed.

lol yeah but lights and  sirens aint completely disabled. it took me a month to have everything the way oi wanted it and this happened you know how many times i've have to clear my mod folder due to a graphic glitch or something not working properly  more than i actually play i believe in the the community and the lspdfr team will turn this into something better than whats  on market currently  look at the long progress they already did from the start is  just proof hopefully before ready or not comes out lol.

For the love of god please just adjust your policy and post all your previous versions and same goes with rage and script and everything else can’t you see your making the majority of your players unhappy not everyone has 2000$ pc that can handle all this new stuff. We just want to spawn in as franklin force duty spawn our stuff in and go that’s all.

 

(on a side note I need someone who is familiar with files and reverting game versions because I have never deleted any file on my pc ever when it comes to gta (except recent updates because I wanted to completely refresh my gta) and I wanna go back to 3.1.something whatever the patch was before all this 4.0 bs)

There's a workaround for the new update. If you backed up the previous version (1.0.1737.0) you can just revert to that through RagePluginHook, download No GTAV Launcher, and you can run the game with ScriptHookV and play normally.
