Easiest way around this is to do the following.

Rename mods folder to mods - copy

Make a new mods folder and copy over your update folder to your new mods folder.  (This will take awhile as its 11 gigs or so)

Next go to your mods - copy folder and find your dlc patch that you installed your vehicles to.  (Mine is always latest patchday20ng)  copy that entire folder and paste it into mods folder and overwrite.    

You might need to reinstall Visual mods again but you should be able to salvage your vehicles.

Ok I have done this before I was just asking if the vehicles still work but lets say I want a FIB vehicle but there is not FIB folder in the patchday do I still just place all the file stuff and make a new FIB folder in that patchday or do I go to the latest patchday that has a FIB folder and replace it? (If its hard to understand I can try to reword it

Yes if you have an FIB vehicle for example  fbi and fbi2  inside that latest patchday it will be copied over.  Only if you installed it to that folder.  However, if you are speaking about a dlc vehicle pack then that is a bit different.  Are you talking about a vehicle pack?

every time I try to launch go on duty  the game crashes how can I fix this issue???

Ok if you have a FIB vehicle pack you can just copy that folder over from that dlc over to the newer mods folder.  Should work fine.

I just got open iv I corrupted my files that is why I deleted it so if I have a vehicle pack like the state wide pack that replaces all the police vehicles in the game can I just find the files it replaces from the latest patchday that have the file in it that is not the most recent and just replace it is that how it works, sorry im just really new to this

Link the vehicle pack so I can see which one you are talking about.  I can answer that easier.

Let me make a mods folder real quick I just remember having trouble with it before I will let you know when it is finished

After patching, I added a DLC vehicle and uploaded it by modifying the dlclist.xml file, but GTA is not even running.

How should I raise the DLC in the future?
Can't you use it at all?

hey benzo im a sub and its happening to me too

 

why everytime i run the game it just shows "Waiting for game window" and then it just keeps show that for next 5m until game crashed! Any idea? is it because some of my mods?
