Hello.

 

So when I hold down the letter "G" outside my police car to turn off the siren it will also bring up one of the StopThePed which allows you to search/tow the car. I looked inside the StopThePed.ini file and couldn't find where I could change the "G" button for that menu. When I look inside the ELS.ini file it's a bunch of codes. I looked inside all the document files that came with the ELS.rar and i can't seem to locate a "decoder" if you will. So I was hoping one of you fine people know what the code is to change G to possibly "H" or maybe is there a website that will show me the code to its corresponding letter.

A guide for the numbers corresponding to each key is found at the bottom of the "DEFAULT CONTROLS (ELS-V)" pdf file in the "DOCUMENTATION" folder of the ELS download. For example, G is the number 71, and H is 72. With this information we can go to the ELS.ini file, scroll down to the bottom, and under the "[ CONTROL ]" section, we can look for the feature we want to change the keybinding of, (in this case it is labeled "Toggle_SIRN") and change it to the number that corresponds with the key we want the feature to use. After that, make sure to save your changes and you're good. 

 

NOTE: Don't simply change every 71 number in the ELS.ini file with 72, as this may have unwanted effects, changing other keys that you may not like.
