Detective update?

So I know that there is a few mods out there that focuses on detective work and such. Those mods are great and all but what if for the next official update the team focuses fully on that aspect? I think it could be really interesting like add all new callouts (for example you get called out to a store robbery after the suspects have already taken off and the responding units lost the suspects. You could check the camera footage and identify them ask witnesses about descriptions and other stuff then go to the address and arrest them for questioning).
